LUDGARDA SIEŃKO
THE PHOTO HAS BEEN LOANED FROM THE CHAMBER OF DOUBLE HARNESS IN JANÓW
Mrs. Ludgarda was born in Nowokolno in the Janów commune.
Joyful, brilliant with extraordinary imagination, for over 40 years she has been creating decorative double warp fabrics.
Most often, she makes thematic fabrics depicting rural life, seasons or the animal world, creating her own compositions.
In 1970, the artist started cooperation with the Białystok cepelia, and since 1985 she has been a member of the Association of Folk Artists in Lublin.
The works of Mrs. Ludgarda feed into the ethnographic collections of museums, including in Warsaw, Kraków, Toruń, Białystok, Częstochowa. We can also admire them in the Double Weaving Chamber in Janów.
The artist is a laureate of many awards, and her works are popular both in Poland and abroad.
He willingly participates in fairs, competitions for double warp fabric and folk art fairs.
Her studio is located on the Folk Handicraft Trail of the Podlaskie Voivodeship, where we can meet her working on looms.
Ogromnie zachęcam do wysłuchania wywiadu przeprowadzonego
A wyobraźnia twórczyni? Bez granic.
